SINdustry Art Show Overview & Sign Up
Summary: The SINdustry Art Show: The 7 Deadly Sins of Art is an 8 month interactive art show created to showcase local emerging artists in an innovative way merging the different genres of the arts to create a full interactive art experience. We will explore the 7 Deadly Sins in an 8 month art installment, which will end in a large art showcase and fashion show featuring the art from each Deadly Sin from the previous month’s shows. Each showcasing artist will have to base their art around the ‘chosen’ sin for that month. Below is the list of sins in the order that we will be showcasing: #1 GREED THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th #2 LUST THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21st #3GLUTTONY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19th #4 ENVY DECEMBER (DTBA) #5 SLOTH JANUARY (DTBA) #6 WRATH FEBRUARY (DTBA) #7 PRIDE MARCH (DTBA) #8 SEVEN DEADLY SINS APRIL (DTBA) *Please note that you are not required to showcase art for each sin. See below for details. Photographers/Painters/Graffiti Artists Platform Options Option A: For a $10 fee per piece, we will display your artwork on the walls of the venue. There is a 3 piece minimum per artist. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain exposure and possibly make a few sales. When and if your art sells we do not take a percentage of the sale. What’s yours is yours! Option B: If you would like to be showcased in all 8 art shows, you can do so for a flat rate of $200. You may feature an unlimited amount of pieces with this option. With this option you are able to split the payments into four payments. Option C: Become a Featured Artist in the "SINdustry" Section of 1981Collection.com. For a fee of $15 you will be featured on the 1981 Collection website from the time you turn in your application until a month after the show. This will include your bio, up to 3 photos, and all of your contact information. If you are planning to showcase at all 8 shows the fee is $50 to be featured on the website for a full year. The 1981 Collection website gets up to 600 visitors a day. This is a great opportunity for the public to see your work before the date of the event.
