Looking for a more fast-paced and exciting environment, I moved from Ketchikan, Alaska here to Seattle three years ago. A Gary Manuel Aveda Institute graduate, I continue to strive to learn the latest styles and techniques to incorporate into my talent. Although I am new to the industry, I've found a niche in recreating my clients' style and giving them a unique style to fit their personality. My passion for styling, cutting and coloring hair has grown into a loving career that I'm excited to continue for the rest of my life.

My passion for hair lies mainly with styling, especially weddings, proms and other events that showcase my work. From editorial looks to daily wear, I love to bring out my client's best features for all occasions. A year ago, I started a blog to further my love of hair and to share that love with my hundreds of followers. Being a natural born leader, I love answering questions, giving tutorials and posting inspirational looks for all to see.

I truly love all things beauty related, I mean who doesn't enjoy eye candy? I know I do! A big part of that for me is helping my clients enhance their image which in turn enhances their confidence and allows the beauty within to shine. Everyone is a canvas and a muse. I find inspiration in mostly everything, but especially in fashion, music, the arts, and other stylists in the field. I love to be creative with textures, colors, and shapes when doing both hair and makeup. My favorite style of hair dressing is high fashion, and avante garde. As for makeup, I have the most fun doing dramatic colorful looks. I am well rounded and thoroughly enjoy doing both hair and makeup, if I were asked to pick between the two it would be hair but I still would never want to have to be limited to one. I am a stylist located in Seattle, WA. I am experienced in modeling but am having more fun working behind the scenes either doing hair, make-up, or both! I love my craft and I am always learning and growing as an artist. I just graduated from the cosmetology program at Northwest Hair Academy, a Paul Mitchell partner school in Everett and I am now an apprentice enrolled in the SEVEN Salon advanced training academy where I am fine tuning my skills. In a meantime I am always doing things to build experience and my portfolio. I have worked with talented photographers, videographers, and models and I am always seeking opportunities to work with new like minded professionals.

My name is Kurstin Stowe and I love what I do :]. I have been doing makeup for about 6 years now and hair for 4. I work full time at a salon in Seattle called, Helmet Head. However, my passion is session styling. I really enjoy being apart of creating an image; might it be for a photograph or a fashion show, I just admire the inspiration that happens behind the scenes. I approach each client's head [safe to say since I do hair and makeup ;] like a blank canvas that I get the pleasure of designing into a piece of art. Krystle Corpus
Make Up Artist

Krystle started in 2002; she worked for The Body Shop, as their makeup artist.

This allowed her to realize that makeup is something she was going pursue. “I believe my passion for makeup is making people look amazing and making them feel even better. There is nothing like doing something you love and seeing the positive effect it has on others.”

She is a self-taught makeup artist. She constantly devotes herself to learning new techniques, about new products, and is inspired by learning from other artists; especially with the ever changing makeup industry. "I never stop learning; it fuels my love for make artistry. Knowledge is key, passion is fuel." She was able to take training from professional makeup artist, Kandee Johnson which has helped her greatly and has inspired her as a budding artist.

Krystle is currently working with Pacific Artistry “…the Northwest’s premier destination for on-location makeup, hair, and beauty consulting” (www.pacificartistry.com). She is also working with a new and upcoming independent production of a soap opera called “Lakeside Manor” where she is one of the key artists.

Being a Make up and hair stylist is a passion not a job. Graduate of the Make Up Designory from the Los Angeles location where I studied Beauty and Special effects. I have been apart of the Smashbox Cosmetics Pro make up team for the past year. For nearly five years I have worked as a Beauty Advisor and Makeup Artist with Lancome Cosmetics in Seattle. During this time, I have done a bit of everything from professional head shots and bridal makeup, to creative photo shoots and other amazing experiments in makeup artistry. While in Seattle I've attended Seattle Pacific University where I studied fine arts and design. It was there where my dedication and passion for the arts was fully realized. The freedom and creativity found in all things artistic brings me great joy and satisfaction. I am ready to embark on new and exciting adventures in the makeup design industry!

My dream is to design and develop makeup trends and work with high fashion designers and filmmakers. I hope to attend Vancouver Film School early next year in pursuit of a degree in Makeup Design for Film and Television. These skills will allow me incorporate my passion for makeup, fashion, and travel and turn it into career! I look forward to opportunities to share my visions with the community and develop myself as professional makeup artist.
