Timmery Turner
Founder|Event Coordinator aka "The Queen Bee"
Los Angeles

Timmery, a graduate of FIDM with a major in fashion design decided to resurrect her career as a fashion and jewelry designer (www.1981collection.com) in 2008. She was invited into the underground art scene due to her edgy, playful, and unique styled handmade jewelry. After showcasing her work at an underground art event called "Pancakes and Booze" she was immediately inspired to develop a show for emerging and underground female talent. This was an excellent opportunity for her to help unseen artists reach the masses and receive the light that they deserved. Her love of art, music, photography, performance and fashion are the driving forces behind the Sugar Art and Fashion Show.
She has since gone on to develop other art shows for local emerging talent including, SINdustry: The 7 Deadly Sins of Art, which is an 8 month interactive art series based off of the 7 Deadly Sins.
"My main objective is to give emerging artists and talent the opportunities I was never presented, in a way that is attention catching and memorable. I want to encourage entrepreneurship and art as a business. It can be done and it is possible. I really don't care what anybody says on the matter!"
With Timmery fearlessly leading at the helm, the Sugar Art and Fashion Show is now currently touring across the country sharing her unique perspective of the underground with the world. In doing so she is creating waves with press and media by showcasing her edgy productions at more notable venues such as New York's Bryant Park Hotel. Timmery also writes a quarterly column based off her wild and eclectic life called 'The Mad Girl Diaries,' (www.MadGirlDiaries.com) which runs in L.A based fashion publication Tinsel Tokyo Magazine. (www.TinselTokyo.com) Most recently she has started writing as a fashion columnist for the up and coming alternative fashion magazine, Prysm. (www.PrysmMagazine.com)
With her reach constantly growing and new enterprises forming under her belt everyday, including her latest female oriented gaming venture, Girl Brain, Timmery is expanding her mark in the industry every second with a creative touch only a true Mad Girl could have.
